Pregnancy dates possible Twins?

Hi all I'm stressing myself out looking at different info about pregnancy this is my 7th pregnancy 4boys & 2MC. I have this fear that I'm going to miscarry again because the pregnancy before my last 2 boys have resulted in miscarriage.
I have done a clear blue pregnancy test and it states I'm 2-3 weeks but from my dates I should be around 7weeks and it's quite weird specially when I'm already feeling flutters in my stomach. Never have I before felt them this early but I know they are movements and I have read a few ppl notice this more when they are expecting twins. Twins run on both sides of my family, my Dad was a twin and my mums sister was a twin both resulted in miscarriage of one child during pregnancy. My partners uncle was also a twin so basically I'm just wondering if the movement could possibly mean more than 1 baby and is the clear blue test possibly wrong? (Sorry for dragging on) x

at seven weeks the baby is so small and tucked away behind your pelvic bone so its really unlikely that what you are feeling are movements...

clearblue tests are notoriously thought to be mistaken sometimes however a reading of 2-3 weeks generally indicates a pregnancy of around 4-5 weeks.

Is it possible you are not as far as you think?

Also, generally with twins the hcg levels are higher so you would definately be expecting a reading of 3+ by seven weeks (even with a single fetus)

In short though there is no real way of knowing without a scan.

I did a basic test from sainsburys too and the HCG levels must have been high coz the lines were pure blue no pale line at all. With all of my others except my 1st and 3rd (coz I was nearly 3 months gone with both of them) I had very light lines specially early stages. Got appointment on Thursday with doc going to ask her advice too. My last period should date back to around 11th November so I honestly can't see how that test would even be anywhere near accurate.
