So far I have vacuumed the entire house (twice just in case i missed anything) scrubbed all bathrooms (even painted the patch of flaking paint in the ceiling) done all accessible skirting boards, dusted all areas i can think of, washed and re washed the baby clothes and bedding, short of putting the dogs in the bath (he's over 30kg so not sure I'd be able to lift him) & shifting furniture to get to all the skirting boards I've run out of things to clean...argh!!

Kitchen has been gutted I've thrown out 4 bags of random stuff I've found..!!

Tempted to wash sofa covers but have no idea where I can dry them lol

Think the nesting might have kicked in as I bloody hate cleaning or maybe I'm just praying labour kicks in before my induction

My house?

gamerchick · 07/01/2014 12:50

Oooh nesting. I always popped nearly a week after that urge to gut the house happened Grin

Although that energy is nature giving you energy for labour though so really you should be putting your feet up.

ChippingInWadesIn · 07/01/2014 12:53

I'll leave the key under the doormat Grin

When are you due?

Writerwannabe83 · 07/01/2014 12:54

I'm with everyone else - you can come and clean my house Smile

Rosebug258 · 07/01/2014 12:55

Decided on a cup of tea and last few choccy biscuits then time to do the windows...my hubby will be delighted he's always moaning I never do enough housework!!

glenthebattleostrich - if you were close by I probably would I'm that desperate today

I spent a happy hour cleaning our front door with a toothbrush Grin

TwentyTinyToes · 07/01/2014 12:57

I enjoyed putting all the duvet covers with matching pillow cases and a bottom sheet into a corresponding pillowcase Blush they look so tidy

Im not usually such a nobber, I promise.

shelley72 · 07/01/2014 13:06

I went into labour after I had a cleaning frenzy like that. Can't remember much of the birth apart from telling everyone how I'd not quite finished the hoovering or gotten around to doing my bikini line Grin

Cup of tea and chocolate biscuits sounds like a perfect way to spend the rest of your day.

notso · 07/01/2014 13:11

Ooooh, I went into labour within hours of doing this with all my 4.
Shame the urge to clean didn't last.
