If you do an early tea does your ds wake up early because they are hungry?

My 15mth ds has tea at 5pm but always seems hungry earlier. I am unsure whether to make it earlier in case he wakes up hungry even earlier (currently wakes 6pm). he has a bottle at bedtime but he is a VERY hungry boy!

The thing about babies is they know when they are hungry. Hunger pangs are your body's way of telling you to eat. I'd give him food when he's hungry.

At that age ours generally has a snack at 3.30/4pm after nap ( some fruit/ cheese)

Then dinner at 6.30/7 earliest with us. ( bed 8.30pm, woke 8/8.30am)

Can you not give a little snack at 3.30/4 then dinner later ie 6pm . He might sleep in until 7am then :)

At that age DS usually had main meal around 4.30, then substantial snack (eg toast or weetabix) about half an hour before bedtime routine started.
