Hello everyone. Have joined as I am unsure what is going on and am driving myself crazy going over and over it.

I am 3 weeks late (which I have never been before except when I was pregnant last - didn't go full term) and have all the early pregnancy symptoms going but four urine tests and a blood test have come back negative.

I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience of this? I also wondered if the tests could have been taken too early. I think i'm only about 3 weeks now so when the tests were done I was only one or two weeks.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Many thanks x

I had a few negatives but I think I did have a positive by the time I was 3 weeks late. Perhaps go to the Dr and get a blood test.

Oops just saw you already did a b test.Maybe you are stressed and that is why you're late.

i would go back to your doctors for advice as sarah says maybe its stress is the reason your late gl op :)

Umm, you wouldn't just be 3 weeks if you're 3 weeks late. If you were due your period 3 weeks ago that would make you at least 6 weeks along, but that's only if you have a super short cycle, and if you have the average 28 day cycle it would make you 7 weeks pregnant.

3 weeks after period is due a test would definitely be positive if you're pregnant. A pregnancy simply cld not happen without hcg level high enough to register. It could be that your body failed to ovulate, or you had very delayed ovulation due to stress or other issues. How long ago was your last pregnancy? Are you breastfeeding? All these things will effect your cycle.

This happened to me. It was really late ovulation or a random long cycle. Almost 60 days instead of 35. I missed a period and thought I might be pregnant but a lot of tests over about 4 weeks told me I wasn't. I gave up but then randomly tested again and got a BFP. I definitely wasn't pregnant at the time I missed the period. The tracker I was using showed ovulation occurred about 3 weeks AFTER I thought my period was due. I don't really know why it happened when they'd been regular for about 5 months prior to that. Bodies are strange!
