Could the faint lines not be hormones from previous pregnancy??

I'm not sure how long it would take for them to be gone xxx

PenguinsDontEatKale · 04/01/2014 13:48

I've heard up to 8 weeks for pregnancy hormones to totally exit the system, so it depends how faint the faint lines are I guess. The fact that the digi came back negative suggests it's either v v early or you aren't pregnant - those aren't as sensitive as looking for a v faint line.

When did you last have sex?? Was it unprotected??

princesscupcakemummyb · 04/01/2014 14:19

yes it was unprotected sex right ovulation @Bedsheets we are TTC i didnt think 8 weeks after birth the hcg would be their still but not sure everything i googled suggests that hcg goes 5-6 after birth the lines have gotten darker @ Penguins but still faint i think maybe il just wait a week see what happens thanks for the replies ladies xx

Wow after 8 weeks. Brave lady. Hope you get your BFP then :-)

McBaby · 04/01/2014 19:09

Clear blue digital are not as sensitive as some other pregnancy tests so if it's early days they can say negative when others say positive. It was 4 days after my positive line test that clear blue digital said I was pregnant.

Little late reply now as you've had a few replies..but the clearblue digital tests only go up to (I think) 4 weeks at the most...so even if you're more it'll stay at 4! The generic ones are better as they are more sensitive :-) Hope all is well xxx

Alexchallex · 05/01/2014 18:59

I don't think you can get false positives. Clear blue must not be as sensitive
