Hello everyone, haven't posted before, but basically just wondering if any of you lovelies can help me, me and my boyfriend decided about two months ago to start TTC and just over a month ago I came off of cerazette, (been taking it for a year now) and after about five days of stopping I had a light period, recently I have been having what I would consider to be symptoms, bloating, nausea, dizziness, back and leg pain, I don't know if I'm just mentally creating these or if they are real, I did a test yesterday and it was negative, but I'm convincing myself I may actually be pregnant, help please? X

When I came of cerazette I had pregnancy symptoms for about 5 weeks, apparently it's quite common as it gets out of your system

Okay thankyou, it's just a bit depressing getting your hopes up and then feeling let down when you see the lonely line lol.

Leave it a bit then test again but apparently a lot of contraceptives can take a while to wear off

Yeah I bought two more tests today so I'll try and wait a bit longer before I do another one, end of the month I think! And yeah I've heard that but cerazette seems to be one that a lot of ladies have fallen preg on pretty much straight away or by the first month or two, fingers crossed x

Think everyone's body reacts different to these things

Me, oral contraceptives seem to make me get pregnant lol

Hmmm time will tell I suppose x

I had awful symptoms the first month I came off the pill, I was convinced I was pregnant because I'd never felt anything like it before (bad cramps, emotional wreck, barely spoke to my DP as I just felt really down), however, it was just my body reacting to me coming off the pill.

The month I conceived I had no symptoms whatsoever and had actually ruled myself out as my DP had been away working most of the month, I thought we had missed the window and like I said, no symptoms at all!

I wouldn't get your hopes up, as hard as it is, it may well just be your body adjusting to the hormone levels in your body. But you never know!

I came off the pill in November, had what I think was a break through bleed on 17th November, only for a couple of days, and got my BFP on Christmas eve!! so you still might be! I had every pregnancy symptom going when I came off the pill too...I googled it and apparently that's really common, but loads of people seem to have fell pregnant straight after coming off it too (according to Dr Google! haha!) so don't give up home yet! I was testing on average every other day before I got my BFP and even since then have done 5 more tests just to make sure! haha! Good luck!!! xxx

Thanks penny, I'll try my best not to get my hopes up too much and I'll do another test tomorrow and then wait til the end of the month to do another one :) congratulations on your special Christmas pressent!! Xxx
