Excessive growth?

Hello,

I've always been slightly above the 90th percentile on fundal measurement but haven't been worried as my curve followed the curve on the graph. I'm under consultant care and she referred me for a growth scan at 35 weeks just to check.

I'm 34 weeks now and the rate of growth has rocketed according to my fundal height. I would be way above the 100th percentile now if the chart had one.

My growth scan is a week on Monday. I'm a bit scared now why he's growing so much. I don't have GD that I know of.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Hi, I've measured big from the first time they got the tap measure out. Don't think I've seen a fundal growth chart, but was 6 weeks big at 26 weeks - I'm guessing that's well above the 90th centile as I got scanned pretty quick.

Scan was totally fine. Normal fluid volume. 90th centile baby, but nothing worrying. I'm 30 weeks now and missed my 28 week bloods due to Xmas holidays, but have checked my own blood sugar and it's been fine (and I've no risk factors for GD)

I think I'm just growing a big baby. Husband thinks I've just got a shit posture (thanks!).

Hopefully all will be fine. My midwife said to me "fundal height is pretty crap but it's all we've got. Enjoy the extra scan, I'm sure it's all totally fine". And she was right.
