Anyone else nesting!

Me! Obsessively so! I am 38 weeks and can't stop cleaning and tidying and getting really annoyed when my cat comes in from the rain with muddy paws! I am constantly cleaning up after him. I have never had such an urge to clean and get the house in order!

I have been clearing junk out of our house for the past couple of months. Somehow I have managed to be completely ruthless, which I always found really hard. Scores of bin bags have gone to the dump/recycling/charity! I am actually completely amazed at how much stuff there was/is in our house!! I think it's because it's a small house and I feel compelled to 'make space' for the new one (there still isn't much space lol!)

I've been doing a lot of cleaning the past few days. I refuse to get my hopes up by calling it 'nesting', though.

The bathroom is neat, clean, decluttered and freshly painted.
The spare room is a functioning bedroom, not a laundry.
The 'junk room' is now a beautiful organised nursery.
Bookcases are arranged & tidy.
I even re-organised the linen cupboard so all bedsets are stored in matching pillowcases and towels are in size order

I'm contemplating doing the loft next...

We've been having a big sort out too.

Built a laundry cupboard organisation with shelving/slots.

Got rid of three bags of toys.

Built more organisation/shelving in dd1&2's bedroom closet to help with space.

I'm still washing lots, hoovering, trying to now sort our bedroom and keep on top of the everyday mess that our girls make.. But I still want to downsize their toys and yet to sort my workspace/desk out. Under the stairs space is shocking. The car needs cleaning before exchanging for a bigger car.

I'm due in three weeks two days lol
