We were told to dtd, had a fairly unsuccessful but hilarious attempt that night and woke in labour the next morning.

Good luck, but dont expect it to be the most enjoyable in your life! Grin

It didn't work for me and was awkward and uncomfortable. Then again even induction took two goes so clearly my dd just wasn't interested in leaving.

It worked for me and took all of five or six hours from DTD to labour starting. Now I am terrified to have sex too early on!!

With DC1 at 36w4d in the night we gave it a go. Had loads of contractions the next day, really bad at times, thought they were just braxton hicks. They disappeared the next day, but then that afternoon I had a precipitous labour and barely made it to the hospital in time.

Who knows if it was the sex or just her time? She was pretty early at 36+6, and the few times we've done it in pregnancy I've always had massive uncomfortable contractions afterwards. I had incompetent cervix with DC2 so it's been off the cards in pregnancy ever since (now on DC4) so the IC might explain why I react so strongly to it.

This is what frightens me Crispy! I don't want my baby coming at 26 weeks,
