Pregnancy questions I need answers for

Why, in my pregnancy books, do 80% of the women in the photos seem unable to find clothes that cover their entire bump? Do they not know that you can get nice tops that are specially shaped so you don't get bump hypothermia? Or maybe it's obligatory to have a section of the bump on display in case we think they're just pillow smuggling?

Also, supplementary to the first question, on the visible bump slice, why do none of them seem to have a series of stretchmarks that look like a large-scale map of the Amazon basin? Not that I'm bitter and spotty and be-stretchmarked. Oh no.

When I was pg I noticed that all the people in the pregnancy books had wedding rings on, which often seemed to be carefully/purposefully/sometimes awkwardly presented to the camera.

I am struggling to find clothes to cover my bump. That's entirely my own fault though, this will be my last pregnancy and I don't want to buy clothes that I will only be wearing for another 10 weeks. I've already bought more work stuff and so am just sitting around the house in very big t-shirts. I'm measuring 4 weeks ahead anyway so by the end am going to be mammoth-like. What the hell is the point spending loads of £ trying to appear in any way fashionable when doing anything and everything is a struggle and makes you feel exhausted?

Because the majority of maternity clothes are ugly, I've been lurking eBay for weeks in hope and can find lots of t-shirts which say "yummy mummy" or some twaddle like that.

When I was preg ewith ds1 it was the middl of summer, I was at uni, I wore some short tops and normal jeans/trousers that went under my bump, I go a fab sun tan on my belly!

Ds2 again summer pregnancy.

I had tops that civered my bumo as well but didnt mind it begn visble and it was summer I was hot, I also didnt grt any visible stretch marks, a few right down by my pubic bone but none on my belly.

After two hot summer pregnancies I mad esure thr next three were winter babies! So it was cold an I kept covered up.

Its a book, its airbrushed and lots of thrm are crap.
