Hi, I am currently 32 weeks pregnant. Had ketones in urine at last appointment was told to eat and drink more. The thing is I am having a hard time eating. Literally never feel hungry apart from in the middle of the night oddly and now that I have increased my fluid intake I am less hungry than ever. Was seriously considering buying some complan shakes and just having one a day just go give me nutritional boost. Although I don't know whether this is safe as they contain vitamin a. I plan to ask at antenatal clinic but has anyone else taken these and know whether they are okay? Alternatively I was thinking of the whey protein powder whether that is safe to take as well...not together obviously but I just need something I can add to water or milk that will boost my calories by around 300 a day as I never seem to get above about 1800 calories.

I don't think you're supposed to have too much vitamin A when pregnant?
