Clearblue Digi Conception Indicator - Stuck!

Evening all, my first post so please be kind!

I am 5 weeks 3 days, and driving myself insane since my Clearblue Digi HPT reading has been stuck on 2-3 since I first got it at 4 weeks. It's been stuck on 2-3 for ten days now and I don't think thats a particularly good sign. With my last successful pregnancy, the reading moved up text book but this one isn't. I am such a fretted because prior to my successful pregnancy, I suffered three recurrent MC's.

I saw the consultant yesterday as they have put me on Clexane, and while I was there I asked for a quick scan which he did for me but it was on the low-tech portable scanners, not the high-tech ones used by sonographers. He pointed out a small pregnancy sac and that was via abdominal scan. This is the only thing that is giving me hope, because surely you wouldn't be able to see a sac via an abdominal scan if I was further behind than I think (know) I am? He couldn't see anything else but did say it was very early (and it was a rubbish scanner).

I don't have much in the way of symptoms, a bit of tiredness and my boobs feel 'bruised' on and off. They are also more full than usual.

So in essence, I am driving myself insane with worry because the CB Digi (that I did two days on the trot with FMU) only reads 2-3 and has done for ten days now. Do I have any hope? Has anyone else had a similar issue with a CB Digi and then gone onto have a healthy pregnancy?

Thank you.

The digis are notoriously inaccurate and often up to 2 weeks out. Stop using them, they are not an accurate indicator of the progression of your pregnancy.
Also don't worry about your symptoms, some people have some and some have none... Again its not a reliable indicator. For now try to remember you are pregnant and enjoy it. Congratulations

I honestly wouldn't stress yourself out about it. I was exactly the same as you, mine read 2-3 two weeks on the trot and I was panicking when I didn't see 3+. I was about 5+6 as well...but a scan two days later revealed a heartbeat and bean so hormones must have been progressing!

I have also had an ectopic (ruptured at 8 weeks) and my tests progressed perfectly from 1-2, 2-3 and 3+ in the space of a couple of weeks...and that didn't end well for me so you just never know.

Fingers crossed all is well for you. I never did test again to see my 3+ but I'm now 9+2 so hopefully all is well.

X

I spent £160 on a scan at 5 weeks as I was freaking out that the digital was "stuck" on 2-3. I'm now 24 weeks :-)

I thought I would come back and update on my situation for the benefit of other people in my situation searching for experiences of others. The times I searched for answers and found abandoned posts without an update was really frustrating so although my ending is sad, I feel I should close the story.

I finally got my 3+ on the CB Digi at 5 weeks 5 days. After a couple of days, I started feeling that something wasn't right. I started spotting brown so I called the EPU and booked a scan. I attended for the scan when I was (by my dates which I knew were spot on) 6 weeks 5 days. They found a small sac and a heartbeat although I only measured 5 weeks 5 days, so a week behind. I know my dates because I temp and use OPK's so I knew something wasn't adding up. They also said the heartbeat was a little slow, and to return in a week for another scan. They thought they could see another sac possibly indicating a twin pregnancy although they said the second sac definitely hadn't progressed.

During that week I had a miscarriage and I passed a sac of about 5-6mm. I wondered if the other sac they saw but indeed a gestational sac but when I returned for my followup scan today, they couldn't see anything at all and confirmed the miscarriage was complete. So it turns out the second sac they questioned was actually a bleed.

Obviously I am upset, but this is our 4th miscarriage so I am getting 'used to it' now, if that's possible. Onwards and upwards now, we are going to start trying again immediately. I am fortunate that I do have a daughter whom I conceived successfully after our first three miscarriages. I wasn't expecting a fourth one having had my daughter successfully but there you go, some things don't always work out the way you expect them to.

Hopefully I will be back with a BFP soon! Thanks for reading my story, and if you are searching for answers, either good or bad, like I was - I wish you much baby dust and luck.

Sorry it wasn't a good outcome this time. Hope you are pg again very soon.

Thanks for the update and sorry you are going through this again. I also appreciate it when people come back and update threads.

I've driven myself mad with the cbd as well. The time mine was changing over on schedule, I had a miscarriage while with this successful pregnancy it got stuck on 2-3 weeks. I went in and had my hcg measured on the same day as getting 2-3 weeks and my levels were at 3000 (1000 more than where the test should flip over to 3+ weeks) at that point I stopped using them and the pregnancy progressed just fine. Although I should say that my hormone levels have been on the low side throughout this pregnancy which is consistent with the fact that I'm carrying a boy.
