New Look maternity sizing?

Anyone have experience with New Look maternity sizing? I'm about to order some bits but would be good to know whether they tend to come up bigger/smaller/about right. Everything I've got so far is either JoJo or Mamas and Papas and I've found both come up big - I'm wearing a size smaller than usual in both. Any tips?! Thanks.

Oh it's bloody awful, ordered some stuff in the sale, all in 14s, one top was too small for me now (at 11 weeks and just look a bit 'fat') one was huge (Deffo 30odd weeks +) and the other two were normal. Just order and hope for the best!! (Although if you want to pm me what your buying, if ts what I got i can advise!!)

I found it was about right to be honest but I was a large size 10 at the time so maybe the clothes are more of a 10/12 than a 10.
I got a lot of things from h&m too which worked out surprisingly well.

IME it comes up on the big side. I was a 14-16 pre-pregnancy, DS is nearly 6wo I'm now 16-18, but wore NL 14 all the way through!

IHatePopUpTents · 01/01/2014 12:02

maybe I'm a 16, just thinking I'm a 14 h and m came up small on me, Deffo need to start buying bigger clothes
or stop eating the Chinese leftovers!

H&M came up really small IMO, I had to buy 18 at the start and 20 towards the end!

I think it comes up right. I'm a size 8-10, bought size 10 jeans and they fit great.

I've found new look about right to a bit on the big side.

H&M very small, although I would have struggled with their trousers before I was pregnant so its probably only following the same theme!

At 27 weeks im finding that maternity tops are still a bit big really and im ok in loads of my usual ones. Being pregnant is a funny old game!

Ok thanks all. I've gone with my normal size and am prepared to end up sending stuff back. It's so annoying that you can't just buy clothes in an actual shop!

New look pretty true to size I'd say.

Some new look stores do Maternity in store although my local one only has a small range I managed to get a few bits. I found the jeans a bit big, am usually 12-14 the 14 kept falling down on me and the tops were about right.

twinklexx · 01/01/2014 12:28

some new looks and h&m have maternity sections so you can try on. have you checked online?
other than that i found them to be about right.

IHatePopUpTents · 01/01/2014 12:34

Matalan are very good as well, my local one has a decent maternity section and is cheap on basics like leggings and plain tops! and it can wear a 14 in their maternity range so they are clearly the best!

my entire maternity wardrobe is new look... found it to be just right.
