Vitamin A

I didn't realise that Vitamin A in pregnancy should be avoided. I have been taking a standard multi-vit which contains 400mcg of Vit A which is 50% of the RDA.

Does anyone know how high the levels have to be before they are concerning.

I am 7 weeks pregnant and worried now!

Try not too worry, you cannot change anything now. Stop taking those and switch to pregnancy vits as they will have no vit A.

Please don't beat yourself up, couldn't be helped if you didn't know x

Just done a quick google for you and it coming up with 4 x recommended daily intake could cause birth defects. Your way under that.

Sorry that I can't link, I have no idea how to via IPad.
