38+4 and really not feeling NYE celebrations tonight...

Hi girlies!

Just a moan really, I'm due in 10 days time and feeling rather tired and generally poop! Not to mention that I look like a haggered umpa-lumpa!
The thought of getting all dressed up for NYE tonight is, quite frankly, foul! As I know no matter how much make up I slap on, and have brought a sparkly maternity dress, I will still feel horrific.
Anyone else feeling the same? What are you all doing to welcome 2014?
Were off to a friends party but I think I would rather be sat in my pjs watching Jules Holland with a hot chocolate in hand! What a bore!!

39+2 here. Dh on nights, ds1 has gone to a party at his friends and im planning on an early night with ds 2 &3 a dvd and a chocolate orange- although it will give me heartburn so will need a gaviscon chaser( and hopefully a baby arriving asap as im fed up with waiting).

I'm only 13 weeks and I'm not going anywhere. We are getting a curry and I'm putting my best PJs on. I think you're really brave.

Am 36+2 and totally sympathise. We're just heading down the road to see friends but am the size of a whale, walk like an OAP, have no nice clothes to wear and am frankly bored of being the only sober person in the room.

Am only making an effort because i know how much hubby enjoys New Year and it'll probably be a while before he really gets to let his hair down again.

38+4 and already In bed , how times gave changed! But I'm exhausted and So is fiancé. It's a weird new year for us but we have lists to look forward to so j don't care, plus I need all my energy for labour when it eventually happens xx

Im 30+6 and we are at the in-laws with siblings... They are all playing games and I'm laid on the sofa in another room relaxing and being brought chocolate by DH! No energy to do anything.

32weeks and staying in, in my PJs. Not even entertaining the idea of anything else as I feel heavy, sleepy and most interested in tea and the sofa! Happy 2014 mumsnetters! May the year bring you much fun and love with all the little ones

30 weeks at midnight - eating and staying in bed is my plan :)

35 weeks. I'm tucked up in bed. Have my parents over, I've cooked a good meal, had a glass of bubbles and played some cards. I've made an effort but now I'm where I should be
