Is it still the norm to was all baby's clothes/blankets etc?
What else should I have ready in advance??
I want to be fully prepared, as my last baby was early and I didn't have time to get ready.

Do you mean wash? If so, my view is new doesn't mean clean and if it's been sitting in a box or attic I'd wash it.

I'm a bit ahead of you and had everything sorted before Christmas a) I needed the room for guest and b) didn't want to be sorting it out in Jan.

I also labelled all the drawers with post-it-notes - last time DH was forever asking me where stuff was! This way at 3am in the morning he can find a vest without asking me. Well that's the plan anyway Wink

I don't think it's too earlier, if needed you can take a week to sort through everything and order anything extra.

Since its your second you probably know how the travel systems work.

I had no clue how to put the pram up/down or how to attach car seat to it or how to use the iso fix base in the car.
