At 38 weeks i really should get one of these hired but i dont know where to start.

so what type/brands would you recommend and where from??

I have Elle tens or babycare tens. It's worth buying ime. Can always sell on for a good price. You need one with a boost button. Look on amazon. Don't delay, get one,set it up then as soon as labour starts get it on!

I found it really helped. Got through8h ds1 birth with just that. Have since lent it to friends and now dusting off for dc2.

You can also rent the same one from boots. If you got to a big store today they'd probably have one quickly.

So worth it!

Rented one from boots with both ds1 and ds2. Easy peasy. Give your local one a ring, or you might be able to do it online. Good luck.

Ask your midwife. Most clinics rent them for hardly any charge.

Toys r us are renting them for 6 weeks for £4.96!
