Bump shape

Hello. I just wondered what shape everyone's bumps are? Is that an odd question?

I lost 5 stone before falling pregnant so I think I have a weird bump.

I very clearly have a "waist" about my belly button

Baby (I am 21 weeks) is obviously below my belly button still (just), I think lots of my innards are above - I'm getting major stretch marks above my "waist" and that's the bit that looks most pregnant.

We've not taken a bump picture as I don't feel like I have a proper bump. I want the two sticky out bits to join up! When do you think that might happen?

My lower abdomen (where baby is - definitely had scan on Fri) I have zero new stretch marks because I used to be a lot heavier/ bigger so that bit of belly was saggy after I lost weight. Baby still in filling.

I'm sure you all have lovely tidy bumps!

X

Try wearing over the bump things that will help your bump look more smooth and one shape in clothes. And I'm sure as you get bigger it will just become one lovely round bump! Xx

Mine never went round, it always dipped in in the middle. Google B shaped pregnancy bellies.

Oh CantaSlaus thanks Hmm will do that. It's good to be prepared! Do you think it's cos I'm bigger & used to be horrifically fat, or just cos...

Im kinda in the same boat. 20 ws and i lost 5 stone. however, my tummys slowly starting to get harder and looking more pg. Totally agree with others who say that proper maternity clothes smooth the bump to make it look better. I hardly look pg without my overbump trousers on ;) at least babys got some growing room in my skin...

I've never had a big tummy but I've always had a weird high stomach!

I had a b shaped bump at the start,
it's evened out now (26 weeks) but is still a little bit flat where the ridge was and it sort of 'crumples' a bit when I sit down Confused

Definitely not the perfect beachball that I had imagined ...Sigh...!

Lovely ladies, I'm glad it's not just me! Hee hee! Peeapod same with my skin "room for growth"!

I have been wearing nice Mothercare over bump trousers and long maternity tops and making sure my knickers are under bump but B bump all the same!

At least now I know there's a technical term for it "B-bump"!
