Hi ladiesSmile

I had an unexpected scan yesterday of my baby, I'm 18 weeks gone and saw three white ball/dots in a triangle where the private parts are and was wondering does it mean I'm having a boy?

Sonographer wouldn't say as he was concentrating on my dermoid cyst on my left ovary Confused so got to wait another 2 weeks for my 20 week scan but I'm dying to know if this means a boy Wink

Anyone know what this means? Thank you xx

It'll be a cross section of the umbilical cord - 2 arteries and a vein! I also though boy at ours (20 weeks) til the sonographer said she hadn't looked and the thing I saw was the cross-section of the cord! If you google image it you might see what you saw again to confirm that was it!

When the sonographer announced we were having a girl she showed us 3 lines and said that means it is a girl. I have 2 girls so unsure as to what boy bits look like!

I had a sexing scan at 16 weeks and it was very obvious it was a boy - there was a clear penis and scrotum. There'd be no mistaking it if you saw it Smile
