Can anyone recommend any good maternity PJs? I'm 31 weeks and just starting to find mine aren't comfy - thought it would make sense to invest in some maternity ones now so I can use them once baby is here too.

I'm looking for a camisole top with inner support and comfy trousers.

Mamas and papas are sold out of my size and the mothercare ones are a bit Confused

Hot milk look good but are ££ - willing to pay if they are good quality though.

Any recommendations very welcome Thanks

I just sized up in primark ones and wear them below my bump. I never wear the tops anyway but a normal vest top is fine still.

Do Next or Topshop do maternity PJs?

Cariad007 · 30/12/2013 00:01

Figleaves.com? Or you could try your local TK Maxx. I'm still in my regular PJs as I prefer them a size bigger anyway. I guess the most important thing is to have a front opening if you're planning on breastfeeding.

I got some nice ones in Jojo Maman Bebe, you can buy the tops and bottoms separately and some of their tops are nursing ones too. Their sale is on at the moment so it's a good time to buy.

New look, new look, new look Grin

Love them

Also sized up in tesco bottoms. Great job.

I have gone up to a bigger size of primark pj bottoms. I get my vests from Gap as they have a good comfortable inner shelf.

My advice is to stick with what you are comfortable in. During my first pregnancy i followed everyones advice about needing front opening so brought a couple of big night shirts. I couldnt rip them off fast enough post birth as i dont normally have my arms covered & found it so uncomfortable. Large vests that you can pull down or slip an arm out of are just as easy if that what you are used to.

Another vote for Jojo Maman.

louloubellamozzarella · 30/12/2013 12:28

Thanks for those tips, will have a look in Jo Jo and New Look. Would definitely consider just normal bottoms, but am loving the overbump comfiness from my mat leggings, so thought that might be nice in PJs too Grin

I couldn't find over bump pj bottoms. Ended up getting maternity ones from new look but do find them increasingly uncomfortable under my bump (25wks) and much prefer over bump stuff in general. Jojo have some over bump jogging bottoms which might do? I got mine second hand and they're massive in the leg! I'm 5'10" and have struggled with finding mat trousers which are long enough.

BEEwitched · 30/12/2013 17:39

I was given maternity jammies for Christmas so I've been wearing them over the festive period (am only 19 weeks along) and they do my head in - I don't sleep well at the moment and have big H-Cup boobs and I seem to spend most of the night shoving them back inside the top.

I'd be wary of front opening tops going from my experience.

Jumpalina · 30/12/2013 17:46

I have some v comfy mat pj bottoms and vests, sold separately from M&S. Cheaper than JoJo and gorgeously soft material.

Jumpalina · 30/12/2013 17:46

They are over the bump btw.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 30/12/2013 17:49

I got some from Mothercare and they fell apart in about a month. I ended up buying Primark pjyamas 2 sizes bigger than normal.

openerofjars · 30/12/2013 17:50

I got some lovely jogging non-maternity bottoms in a bigger size than I'd normally buy, from Sainsbury's, and wore them with DH's tshirts. They were soooooo comfy I'm still wearing them, even if they are a bit loose now.

openerofjars · 30/12/2013 17:50

And they were about £6 each!

louloubellamozzarella · 01/01/2014 22:50

The M&S ones I was going to get sold out straight away, boo! There's clearly demand for maternity nightwear out there.

There are some decent looking bottoms in new look at the moment, but they're not doing click and collect at the moment and I'm not paying £3 to have some £15 bottoms delivered Hmm worth a look if anyone's near a large new look store though.

Think I'm going to go with a couple of maternity vests from mothercare and some trusty Primark bottoms.

Sainsburys have some in their sale, not maternity, but buy a size or so bigger, very comfy. Love the "soft touch" stuff!

seafoodudon · 02/01/2014 00:23

Sleep bra from mothercare then with any old pjs over the top.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 02/01/2014 11:50

M&S ones. Floral Hmm but so so comfy. Navy or pink cami top, floral bottoms. Dogs bollocks, they are!

annielosthergun · 02/01/2014 18:33

I love the hot milk ones - but it is the cami top which is awesome and comfy for breast feeding (love not needing to sleep in a bra!), the pj trousers are average and not worth the £££ I think (luckily they are sold seperately!)

Clargo55 · 03/01/2014 22:46

My comfiest ones are from Boden and JoJo. Have a pair from primark that are still good though and alot cheaper.
