HELP 21 weeks and have a headache

hi all I am 21 weeks pregnant with second child im 24 years and healthy I don't smoke or drink and my pregnancy has been fine until now

I woke yesterday with an headache which proceeded to get worse through out the day I tried taking paracetamol but it didn't work (I have continued taking paracetamol every four hours)by last night I kept getting blurred vision so I called my midwife who sent me to hospital to have my blood pressure taken that was fine and she also took a urine sample that came back normal so they sent me home to rest and take paracetamol every four hours and now its no better

does or did any one experience anything like this or some thing simular

Yes - I had similar at about 24 weeks ish. My vision changed and I had a terrible headache, and also swollen hands. I had the same checks. My blood pressure was a little raised but nothing serious. I took it VERY easy for a few days and returned to totally normal. I was really rather stressed at the time, so feel that this had raised my blood pressure a bit which caused these things. The tests that they did were to rule out pre eclampsia - better that you don't have that!

so this does fix its self then I hope so I don't know how much more I can take of this headache lol

I had a headache up until 4 days ago for 12 days. Agonising headache! Nothing helped it. Dr checked blood pressure and urine and everything was fine. Just hormones apparantly. Drove me completely beserk and really got me down. Today it's back, but not quite as bad. I'm 18+5. Hopefully it'll pass for you soon xx
