I'm 17 weeks and still feeling queasy, not much appetite, dry heaving! It just doesn't seem to be shifting! There is no great glowing happy period that I keep reading about!! I never felt grim like this in my last preg and this time everything is awful!!!!!!! Blahhhh

OP posts:

aroha77 · 28/12/2013 20:19

Mine only stopped with an anti-emetic, you could talk to your GP? Xx

SweetPea86 · 28/12/2013 21:40

I feel your pain I had serve sickness and nausea from week 5 up till 17 then it has toned down I still throw up on a morning and feel queasy. But it's manageable. Tbh best thing boiled sweet and eating little and often seemed the best option.

I was give cyclinzine tablets for a while but they didn't really help that much and when I was on them spent the whole time feeling like a zombie lol.

I really feel for you Hun this is my first pregnancy and it scares me to have another because I couldn't function with the sickness I've never felt so ill in my life I hope it begins to fade soon

lizziekal · 28/12/2013 22:02

I'm 25 weeks and still feel rubbish. Not a hint of a glow x

LightTripper · 29/12/2013 08:57

I'm 23 and definitely no glow, still nauseous all evening. To offer some hope though, I think it is a bit better than at 17 weeks. In particular I haven't actually thrown up since 20 weeks, so that's something. It is deeply deeply rubbish feeling so crap all the time - particularly when I'm working so get no "good hours" to myself - but am sort of resigned to feeling like this until the end. If it gets better that's a bonus!

SarahBumBarer · 29/12/2013 11:03

With DC1 the sickness finally passed at 24 weeks (I had given up hope) when I went on holiday and just completely relaxed for a week. I then had a very short glowing period before the final trimester blimpiness set in. So there is still hope...
