Confused!

I done a clearblue conception indicator which came up 3+ weeks but then when i went for my dating scan a month or so later my baby measured 11 weeks 3 days. This doesnt make sense for when we had sex. R these conception indicators accurate or should i go with dating scan?

hi Lyndz123 the cb go by conception the dating scans dont theirs room for error by 2 weeks with dating scans actually up to 3 according to my mw in my last pregnancy i wouldnt worry to much tbh in my last pregnancy my period dates gave me a due date of 23rd october 2013 my scan dated me due november 2nd my son was born november 4th so in any case the scan date wasent to far off congrats

So does that mean the conception indicator is more reliable? I jst think when it came up 3+ weeks from conception i was only 2-3 weeks

It said 3+, so more than three, maybe four or five?

Add this to the two weeks 'free' that you get before conception, plus the four weeks that have passed. Plus give or take a week...

I'd ignore the notoriously inaccurate CB digi and go with medically trained sonographer if I were you.

I agree with LastOneDancing. Your dating scan is a far better indicator than the pregnancy test: 3+ weeks could be mean 7 weeks after conception whereas your dating scan is unlikely to be more than a week/10 days different from the date of your last period.
Remember that pregnancy isn't dated from when you conceive (it's almost impossible to know exactly when sperm met egg unless you are undergoing fertility treatment) but from the first day of your last period e.g. if your last period was the 30th November today you are 4 weeks pregnant.

It's just because we didnt have sex until the week after so it should be 2-3 i thought? but if they arent too reliable i'll not worry
