Cooking for guests

I'm 7 weeks pg tomorrow and expecting guests for dinner - 2 adults & 3 children. When I originally invited them I had planned to cook a Swedish smorgasbord. But, my morning sickness kicked in on Christmas Day and I am struggling to eat far less cook.

DH and I were discussing the menu and how to change it. He cooks but his range is more limited than mine. He suggested he could do pasta bake, pizza and salad. What do you think? The friends know I am pg.

Keep it simple and let DH take over. Nothing worse than feeling sick at the food of the person next to you. So if you think you can eat pizza then do that. The guests will understand, and enjoy it too I'm sure :)

I think that sounds fine. As your friends know your pregnant they probably won't be surprised that your feeling ill.

Your husband sounds lovely. Exdp never ever cooked...One of the reasons he's an Exdp!

Thank you. We are going for the pizza and pasta option.

He is a very good husband. He's totally taken over with DD so I can rest this week. MIL is always stunned Grin when he cooks. Her stock phrase is, "...and, it tasted GOOD!" The PILs are very traditional.
