hcg after birth

hi all i was wondering does anyone know if hcg would still present 7 weeks after giving birth ?

I just read something which said 3-4 weeks afterwards there maybe some hcg but not a particularly reliable source.

Do you think you might be pregnant again?

Unlikely...unless you have retained products. More likely by 7 weeks post delivery that your pregnant again!

thanks ladies conflicting advice when i googled it i did a few tests which did show a very faint line on each but as it was so faint i assumed it was left over hcg im not taking anything we are planning another in close age so its not a problem mad i know lol just wasent sure i have no idea how many dpo i am i am also breastfeeding i think to be sure il try a different test as these where just cheap tests off ebay so not sure if their even reliable anyways thanks again ladies your reply is appreciated il update with results when i grab a different test :)

update ladies i took another test another 3 actually lol all produced lines not very dark ones but visable so heres to 2014 my 4th dc
