I'm currently 5 weeks as 6 days pregnant, I have an early scan Booked on the 31/12 I'm sooo anxious!
I feel ok symptoms being, sore nipples, lower back pain, mild cramping.
I really want morning sickness to kick in and prove to me that I'm not going crazy!
After 4 MC and 1 ectopic this is the best pregnancy so far, I just can't convince myself everything is ok! Confused

I don't think there is much you can do now, except wait for the scan. I hope it goes well.

You might like to have a browse in the Antenatal Clubs section of MN, and join he thread for your due date if chatting to others at the same stage would help.

I think there is a PG after MC chat thread somewhere too, and that might be another one for you to have a look at.

congratulations! but dont hold out for morning sickness! I havent been sick once and only felt queasy on a few afternoons. apart from being tired I have had no other symptoms! im nearly 18 weeks!

HalfPintPickle · 26/12/2013 14:44

After the roller coaster of emotions you've probably been through, it's normal to be anxious.
Hopefully after the scan, it'll put your mind at rest for a little bit.

I'm currently 5+1 and apart from sore boobs, have no symptoms what so ever. I forget I'm pregnant!
I had no symptoms or morning sickness with my 1st either. So you don't have to have them to be reassured everything is ok.

Good luck on the 31st x

I'm new so be kind....

I'm 9+1 & so very scared!! Lost last baby @17weeks....had a little morning sickness at about 7weeks now nothing. Had lots of stomach pains & spotting but doctors closed!!

lj123 · 26/12/2013 22:31

Puppymummy, thanks lol I know my mum was always really sick with pregnancy I was hoping it would creep on me as reassurance lol, I suppose it's a good thing if you've been lucky to miss it. Wink

lj123 · 27/12/2013 19:49

Hi, I think most people find out early days, I can only reassure you that I have made it this far today 6 weeks and I don't know how I've done it yet lol
Keep as calm as possible Hun it will help, I found out at 4 weeks too. Xx

12 weeks is an age away when you find out at 4 weeks - that's Two whole months! When do you see the GP? I'm not booked in until 7+5.

lj123 · 27/12/2013 22:34

Halfpintpickle, it's deffo ages away, well following my scan on Tuesday ill phone doctors anyway to set up a midwife appointment (I hope) then make any other necessary appointments, never got as far as this without MC or excruciating pain so not sure what's next lol xx

12 weeks feels like FOREVER! But it is better than the 2ww!!

lj123 · 28/12/2013 11:15

I'm lucky this time I didn't have the 2ww because we where going to start trying again after new year as I was awaiting an appointment with a specialist lol nothing had happened after a year when I had my right tube removed so I thought something was wrong then AF never arrived! Smile
I still don't feel pregnant tho! I had a fair bit of cramping yesterday and gone today.

If you are suffering from anxiety, can you access an early bird clinic, or a MW team, or an EPU?

It is sometimes easier to be referred as you have has previous MCs, or other complications, and you do not necessarily have to wait until, after booking visit

(BTW, if you want to chat with others at same stage of PG, then the thread is here there's a whole separate topic, so that enquiries about thinks like anxiety and other MH issues in PG don't get lost).

lj123 · 28/12/2013 19:03

I do have an early scan booked in Tuesday it just seems to be taking forever and I'm hearing about a lot of other people I know with BFPs n I'm keeping quiet! I've only told people who I'm happy to talk to if things don't go how they should do this time. X

I've just started tonight getting a sharp pain on my left side Confused I hope it's something simple like a cyst!

VJONES1985 · 30/12/2013 21:26

Lj - I had a scan at 5+4 and it was fine. I was dreading it but seeing it there in black and white was so reassuring and I felt much more relaxed. It was too soon for a heartbeat so am having another one next week, at 7+4. Good luck - you'll be fine.

lj123 · 30/12/2013 21:58

Thanks vjones, I just don't think I'm expecting anything, I'm paranoid! I'm still taking tests now just to check I'm not going mad!

OP posts:
VJONES1985 · 30/12/2013 22:01

I was exactly the same - I didn't really feel preg and couldn't believe it when I saw my little bean! It will help if you relax and stop thinking about it though.

lj123 · 31/12/2013 07:49

Ahh I hope so! I've got everything crossed for this morning, it's my turn so it has to work. Smile
