Trouser dilemma

Need a bit of advice. I'm a size 12 and currently 14 weeks. I can still fit into my trousers but used to have to wear belts to keep them up and properly fitted, now its too uncomfortable to wear a belt. The main problem is I have to keep yanking them up! I don't know if maternity trousers would be a bit too big because I don't have a big bump. And I'd wonder if there was not much point in a bump belt because I can still do up the trousers.

I'm in an awkward in between phase and its irritating me! What have other people done in this stage?

Under bump maternity trousers are quite good for the stage you are at. Or stretchy leggings a size bigger than normal will last you for a while (an are comfy for afterwards when you are returning to normal size).

I just wore leggings with dress/ long top

Go for under bump in the same size you are usually. Or wear long tops and just have your button undone.
Have a look at next and hennes. Their sizes are accurate to what you are normally and they do nice trousers

I jibbed trousers at that point and went for dresses/long tops with maternity tights and leggings. I bought some maternity trousers (over the bump) from h&m at about 21 weeks so have worn those a bit since.

You are right, it's an awkward stage!

Im 29 weeks and still doing the old hair band holding up the trousers thing! I just loop one end thru the hole bit them hook the other end round the button. I wear long tops so it cant be seen. Ive only bought one pair of maternity jeans and apart from that i wear leggings as i cant justify spending lots on clothes for suxh a short amount of time.

Under the bump, or you can get a thing on amazon that allows you to expand the waistline of existing trousers. I didn't get one in the end, but someone recommended it to me.

I got fab black work trousers from next online for about £20+ which are over bump. Got them in my normal (pre preg) size and they have lasted me for months as the band is both supportive and spacious enough
