I've been getting constant nose bleeds and headaches, pains in my abdomen, my nipples have been painful, sensitive and swollen, I've been getting constant mood swings, mainly grumpiness for no reason at all, I've had acne breakouts, which I've not had for years, ive been feeling sick and most importantly, I've missed my period by 1 week and i feel pregnant, as strange as it may be.

Well then go and buy a test!

CranberrySaucyJack · 26/12/2013 13:35

No, you're not pregnant.

WeAreSix · 26/12/2013 13:41

Have you POAS?! There's a way of finding out...

scaevola · 26/12/2013 14:09

You need to POAS. Do you have any, or open shops nearby?

HankyScore · 26/12/2013 14:14

This is a really accurate online pregnancy test.

JeanSeberg · 26/12/2013 14:16

Yes you're definitely pregnant.

PacificDingbat · 26/12/2013 14:17

Hanky, you are evil, you are Grin

Seriously, OP, why ask us? POAS.

mcrroxmysox · 26/12/2013 18:34

I'm doing a test tomorrow hopefully, I'm just scared, its my first possible pregnancy and I'm barely 17 yet, i know it's my own stupid fault and i should have been careful but i can't turn back time now

Oh dear, you must be worried.

There's nothing else for it - do the test. You need to know, one way or another so you can then start thinking about your options. If you are not pregnant, get v good contraception sorted out ASAP so you don't have to worry again.

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 26/12/2013 18:42

You have to do the test. There will be people here to support you whatever the outcome, but we can't predict it for you. Be gentle on yourself.

RegainingUnconsciousness · 26/12/2013 19:17

Ah, you're young and this isn't planned.

Take a test, find out for sure, if it's positive then come back here and very knowledgable mumsnet terms can help you through the next steps.

If it's negative, I recommend the coil!

(Nice nickname, btw, took me a while to decipher)

PacificDingbat · 27/12/2013 11:39

Good luck today - I hope you get the answer you want. Fingers crossed for you.

mcrroxmysox · 30/12/2013 22:19

I've done a test and it says negative but I'm never late for my period, this is the first time its ever happened, so I'm a little unsure whether to believe it or not ha ha. thank you all for the help though, and thank you pacific dingbat, i really appreciate it all

It should be saying positive by now if you are pregnant so I think you probably aren't. However, there is still a chance so perhaps you should go to the doctor and also chat about contraception. Good luck.

Plateofcrumbs · 31/12/2013 11:43

Sometimes periods do weird things and stress us out. But you've done the right thing to check. Providing you've done the test correctly it is unlikely that you are pregnant but I second vjone's advice to double check with doctor and sort out your contraception! Good luck.
