I'm 27 weeks pg, baby #1 and am getting fed up of travelling about for Xmas and were only on Xmas day, we still have new year to go Hmm dh is feeling crappy, we both haven't slept properly for nearly a week, and I have a tolerance level of 0 when it comes down to small talk with family Hmm tomorrow it's a get together at my parents (were staying her tonight) with a couple of kids here, but I am not looking forward to it at all. Just after other pg mums to be to support me on my moan Grin

Feel your pain K8hee. I'm 16 weeks and just feel so tired. Did loads of driving about yesterday and then was so tired at night and I had to drive us home as dh had been having a few drinks. He's now had a few more today and it's getting on my nerves.

We're invited to a party on Hogmanay and I really don't want to go but know I'll has to go and make small talk mad watch everyone else drinking and not be able to leave until after midnight.

We've got lots on and I just really want some time to myself. Also I'm working on Monday and Tuesday.

Ohcluttergotme, I've got that too. Have got to drive about loads, and spend a week in the new year at the in laws. Sickness is doing its round again I think, felt really nauseas this morning Hmm I just want to be at home, my own home comforts, and bed but noooooo! Xmas & new year is being spent travelling seeing people I have to make small talk with, and I know don't really care how I am or will enjoy my company

I am a right Christmas's grouch too. Everyone's being nice but I'm 9 weeks and just knackered. Don't like not telling people and having to soldier on and pretend to drink. Don't like telling people and having them fuss and have them tell people they shouldn't. Hate staying up past 10pm and making small talk when I just want to crash out. Sick of the travel already. Sick of watching other people drink. Just generally a grumpy made. Fed up with myself too at this point! I'm normally very mellow and relaxed believe it or not!

weebigmamma · 26/12/2013 17:58

I've caved in and am having a glass of wine after a day at the in-laws, during which I found out that my husband had been looking at new cars with them without telling me. We had discussed getting a new one and now it appears they have one all picked out. I'm bloody raging. Icing on the cake. I'm knackered driving everyone around and them all having a great time while I can't even sleep. Roll on January!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one whose miserable Hmm I never thought I'd say this but I'm quite fed up of my parents fussing over me, if I get asked anymore "are you ok? Do you want anything to eat/dink"

How about doing Christmas on your own at 35 weeks with 3 dc. 2 with SNs? No one invites us anywhere, haven't done in about 4 years due to boys SNS.

My older dc came round yesterday. My dad & aunt today. If I didn't invite them we'd not see any one. Not one of them even offered to load the dish washer! My mum was meant to be visiting Saturday but she cancelled on Christmas Eve.

EX dp hasn't seen dc since last week. He's on his way to Scotland today until the New Year.

Merry Christmas!!!

No one asked if i was ok or offered me so much as a cup of tea. My feet & legs are do swollen I can't get any shoes on. I've a meeting at the bank tomorrow...

ohcluttergotme · 26/12/2013 19:07

K8eee · 26/12/2013 22:30

Sorry Shelley to hear that. I might sound ungrateful but my family (parents mostly) are way too over the top
