I know statistically that first babies are normally late and I am only 38+3 but I've been having terrible Braxton Hicks all day along with period like cramps and back pain. No show, no waters or anything else so I'm fairly certain this isn't it, but it doesn't stop me over-analysing constantly.

These next few weeks of waiting are going to be great fun, aren't they?

I am expecting DC2 and am currently 39 wks. I was probably worse last time around but nearly as bad thistime. Every twinge and braxton hicks o think that labour is coming. Makes the last bit drag even more I am afraid.

I'm only 36 weeks with DC1 but have been told there's every chance the baby will be arriving shortly. So I know what you mean! I've told DH several times that I think it's starting. He won't believe me when it actually is Wink

I am 38+1 and yes wake up every morning wondering if it will be today!
I have had period like dull pains for a week, no BH, light tingling boobs, feel very tired in the evening, achy legs and very fed up of being pregnant.

Also have a super active baby for the last 3 days who is fully engaged and head butting my cervix which makes me think it wants to get out!!

I thought they were meant to go quiet before labour approaches

I'm 41 weeks today and something does feel different. Had BH all night long, can feel a bit of pressure on my cervix, and I feel a bit odd. We are hosting a Boxing Day dinner tomorrow and I'm not sure I'm really in the mood!

LateBear that sounds promising, fingers crossed it happens for you soon.

I feel totally normal again today and I'm fairly sure that the baby has moved down a bit more.

I am 37+4 and whenever I get an ache or pain I think it could be labour. I have been looking out for it more since Christmas has finished, I have nothing to distract me! I do think this baby boy will probably be late though as this is my first.

I'm 38+6 and the anticipation is driving me crazy. I'm sure I wasnt like this with DC1. My little one seems to constantly have her feet under my ribs (so no chance of bending for anything) and has been pummeling away at my stomach for the past couple of days (doesnt hurt but makes me feel very sick), so I'm sure she's moving upwards instead of down Confused.
Actually the only thing thats bothering me is that I have been very cool and calm and actually looking forward to the birth, but now as time goes on I'm starting to get the fear
