I just thought I'd come on and see if anyone else is awake Grin
I'm seriously tired but due to aching legs and feet I just can't switch off.

I've had a manic day today - ended up being monitored in hospital for 4 hours due to having fallen down sone stairs - whoops! It was so embarrassing, it was at my dental surgery and everyone saw Grin Thankfully baby was fine and I was allowed home but it's been a long day!!!

I have been ready for sleep since about 8pm, but it's just not happening.

Now sitting in my living room with a cup of team one if my cats and looking at the Christmas presents and wondering what DH has got me Xmas Grin

Hi writer :) I'm also suffering the preggo insomnia!!! Been asleep from 9:30 woke up at 12!! Cannot get back off so come down stairs to watch tv! Im 31 weeks nearly and the last few weeks I've not slept great! I've had a cold for the lady 3 weeks which I thought was getting better... Tonight it's got worse! Heartburn is killing me which at the min no amount of gaviscon is getting rid of! Oh and the spd I was diagnosed with at about 14 weeks which has surprisingly not been bad has come on with vengeance the last few nights and I'm in agony! Ha! The joys!!!

Sorry to hear about your fall are you all ok now? Must have been v scary for you Confused plsd baby was ok though!

How you finding being pregnant? I feel like I moan all the time but I love that my baby girl is growing inside me and as much as the kicks/somersaults sometimes are a bit uncomfortable i love feeling her! Do you know if your having a boy or girl??

Hoping that if you don't reply it means you've managed to doze off! Xx

Well that makes three of us. I am 38+5 and have been suffering from insomnia for weeks. Tonight is particularly bad. Not slept at all even though I am exhausted.

Nesting has kicked in and I over did it yesterday resulting in a very painful back , sore legs and now I seem to be developing a cold. To top it off DD keeps moving into painfully uncomfortable positions so I have to get out of bed to get her to move.

The joys of pregnancy. Rant over! Hope you both get soe sleep soon..

Me too Hmm16+5 here & seem to be awake from 3-5 most nights. Exhausting as my nearly 2yr old DS is waking anytime from 5.30 onwards. Also still bf him so may have already been awake for a feed around 1.30.
Can't carry on like this much longer....zzzzzzzzzz

Morning all, I'm awake too. I've got my granny to stay over Christmas, i just got up to go to the loo and she started shouting. The poor thing is quite dotty and anxious, there's not much I can do to calm her down. Now my tummy is rumbling and its making the baby kick and wriggle. Mind you, there's something really nice about being tucked up warm in bed in the dark, with a storm blowing outside and a few baby wriggles to keep me company.

I'm still awake! And now my virgin box has gone wrong! Lol I'm doomed! Aw bless your granny! The wind is really bad here! I'm dreading tomorrow...Got lots of places to go .... Gunner be knackered and I'm staying at my mums in a double bed with dh .... We're used to superking! Bad times! I am also getting kicked like there's no tomorrow! Bless her she must know I can't sleep! Hmm Xxx

Morning fellow insomniacs Grin

I went back to bed at about 1.30am and managed to fall asleep quite quickly - I had taken some paracetamol for my sore legs so that may have helped. I'm feeling shattered now and DH wants to go Christmas shopping Hmm The house is an absolute state too but I just can't face doing it....I want everywhere tidy for Christmas though Xmas Smile

charlie - like you, I find myself moaning about most aspects of pregnancy Grin Me and DH are having a little boy and very excited, we are now just in the stage of discussing arguing about baby names Grin

Hey I seem to go through stages of sleepless nights. I tend to fall asleep early but wake early hours and can't get bk to sleep. Aching legs and feet is the worst, try a hot bath to sooth the pain and might make you sleepy afterwards.

I've noticed whilst being pregnant that even if I do manage to sleep I wake up after really weird dreams. Had one about my grandma who passed 5 years ago and it mad me wake and feel really sad. So have been awake rest of the morning arghhhhh
