I'm 37 weeks on Wednesday with my first baby and I've just completely had enough! Is it normal to be this fed up at this time?

I am 37+2 with my first and have had constant braxton hicks for the past 2 days unless I am asleep.
I really wanted baby to stay put until the new year but after the past 2 days I just want baby out.

Shellywelly1973 · 22/12/2013 22:45

I appreciate how your feeling. I'm almost 35 weeks. I hate to admit it but I'm totally exhausted. I'm still working. My stupid body is wrecked & I'm aching!

I will be glad not to be pregnant anymore but I've so much to do that in some ways I really hope this baby stays in for at least another 5 weeks!

metalmummy696 · 22/12/2013 22:46

I had my fingers crossed she would stay in until after the new year aswell but I'm just sick of it now! I feel like I'm sat on a bowling ball!

Feel your pain, 38 weeks today and braxton hicks on & off for days, going on my last pregnancies i will probably go overdue!

Fedup1992 · 23/12/2013 05:09

I'm 33 and oh my god!

I wanna cry!

I'm not sleeping at all had 3 hours in 48 hours, felt like what I assume a druggy feels like after a heavy weekend!!!

Eyes where rolling in the back of my head!

I had a good sleep after two days of no sleep I am now back into being wide awake! Got to be up at 8 as I'm waiting for my DP present for Xmas! But I'm now bleaching the floors

Debenhams have annoyed me! Took the money out if my account for a present fast enough. Then cancled the order! And not put the money back in!! Looks like I'm gunna have to fork out another 150 for the present to have it Intime for Xmas day! Even though I feel like not giving them another penny!

I'm fed up of wearing pregnancy clothes!!! Can still fit in my 10 leggins but fed up of getting holes in the private parts got a size bigger and they still are getting holes in! So gone to maternity leggins an have the saggiest legs and bum because iv still got tiny thin legs!

Can't wait to put little pair of jeans n heels on!!

Ahhh rant over

Sorry about that!! Xxxx

metalmummy696 · 23/12/2013 10:19

I'm feeling huge! Sick of wearing maternity leggins I just can't wait to wear a pair of jeans, but I didn't by a maternity pair as I didn't see the point in spending so much for something that wouldn't be worn long( I'm not having another baby in any short time to come). Dreading my birthday in 5 days as I feel like I'll look like a whale sat at the table! Eurghhhh get this little girl out of me!!

40+2 so know how you're feeling.
I've been fed up since about 35 weeks.
Come to the conclusion baby doesn't want to meet me. Was in early labour Tuesday then it stopped.

Really had it now

redcarrot1 · 23/12/2013 10:28

I'm 36+ and am now at the point where I'm uncomfortable most of the time. I actually dread bedtime as by the morning my hips and knees badly ache. Sometimes I end up sleeping sitting upright. I've got a small frame and large bump so it's really taking its toll physically.

And now a day of housework and ironing...

But I have to say, in terms of birth dates I'd rather have a January baby than a December one.

littlecrumb · 23/12/2013 17:10

I am 36+4 and feel the same redcarrot. So achey in my hips at night and left leg. Hoping as soon as Christmas has gone that this little one
Arrives! I bet I will be overdue...
