My legs & feet have been very swollen for about 2 weeks now.

My told me to prop them up on pillows at night...
How? My feet wont stay on the pillows. I'm coming up to 35 weeks so I feel like I can't breathe propley when I'm lying on my back. I rarely wake during the night so like last night, i didn't realise my feet weren't elevated.

I'm still working. Dc on holidays so actually busier then normal & no opportunity to rest in the day. I have a very important meeting tomorrow & have to wear some sort of shoes...I'm down to Uggs!

Any tips or advice appreciated!

You should get your bp checked ASAP.

Thanks Purple but had it checked Friday by GP & is fine.

He wanted to sign me off work... I'm self employed!
2 youngest ds have ASD. Older d's can stay awake til 12/1 am. Younger d's is up by 6 am. They always struggle with school holidays & the Christmas ones are the worst! I would love love love to work from 9-5!!

Are you wearing compression socks? They might help. I had that problem and it is awful. I sympathise. I ended up in wide fitting comfort shoes from M&S and black trousers to work by the end. Horrible but nothing else fitted. Also m and s do mens socks with special tops which are not elasticated which stopped awful welts round ankles.

I elevated my legs in the evenings but like you struggled with pillows at night.you could try raising the bottom of the mattress with a wedge of some sort I suppose but I don't know what else. Only having the baby sorted mine out :-(
