... not taken my pregnacare in ages & ignoring my iron tablets given to me by the midwife too. 20 weeks tomorrow. I was so good with DD1 but this time I'm rubbish!!! how bad is it that I'm not taking this stuff?

I keep forgetting too- just have some now, and make a note or set your alarm on your phone so you remember?

Me too MrsRV...I can't remember when I last took mine...I took them religiously when pregnant with DS1. Going to try really hard to remember over the festive season. As long as we're not eating junk day in day out I am sure the babies will be fine!

I've been rubbish this time too. Balanced diet and all will be well!

Im 18 weeks today and havent taken anything since stopping folic acid tablets at week 12 (on advice of midwife). I too have been worrying about this. I find all the pregnancy multi vitamin tablets relly huge so taking them doesnt appeal. My diet hasnt been great either. That said, i feel really well and think I look well(?!). I dont know how much it matters....all my tests etc have been fine so far (luckily)...

Was your iron low? Or did she just give you them as a precaution? I took only folic acid during both pregnancies until 12-14 weeks (after my first scan). I tried pregnacare and they made me so ill. My iron and haemoglobin has always been "lovely, lovely" according to the consultant without anything!

just revisiting this thread... have started being a good girl & taking my iron tablets & pregnacare so hopefully iron levels are up now. however, the guilt continues... I am living on sausage rolls & salad cream.

MrsRV - Ive eaten absolute rubbish for weeks now too and feeling guilty too. Need to start taking my tablets - i should make it my new years resolution...
