faint pregnancy with brown discharge

Hi..ive had 3 miscarriges and found out Iam pregnant again on tuesday.i did two early response tests and they were positive with a faint line.i woke up this morning to a brownish coloured discharge when I wipe from going to the toilet with on and off little aches..can any one help who has had the same thing?:'(

Hi, I'm in a similar position - I got a faint positive on Monday and have had a couple of episodes of brown sludge and cramping since. Mine was from my 4th cycle of IVF and I mc'd from the 1st cycle - the only other time I have been pregnant in my life. I am understandably nervous. But I had a blood test on Thursday at my clinic and had a nice high HCG number. I am just hoping it stays that way. I understand that the brown sludge is very common. It's not easy to see though.

Brown discharge is usually old blood, could be from implantation, but can also be the start of a miscarriage. As a veteran of 4MC I understand how dreadful it feels to see blood again. I'm sure nothing we can say will reassure you but here to hold your hand.

Thank you both..the doctor gave me a high dose of folic acid and I have been taking pregnacare and vitamins. It is only a small amount but im so worried..I have a clear blue test that im going to dobin the morning is there any signs to look for to help give me a answer? Thank you again xx

FX for you! I had multiple bouts of bleeding through to 10 weeks in both pregnancies, both brown and red and all is still fine But I know just how worried you feel about it. Hope yours works out well too x
