Pregnancy and IBS?

Hi all, I'm currently 19+4 with my third child. My first two pregnancies were pretty easy actually. Towards the end of the second pregnancy however, I developed what I thought was an upset stomach due to a food intolerance of some kind (to be honest I was glad not to be constipated for once), but even after the birth it continued for years.

This pregnancy so far has been hell-ish! I have suffered with trapped wind, bloating and all sorts virtually every day. Last night/this morning I suffered with my usual upset stomach and ended up having braxton hicks and cramps so bad I thought I was going into early labour, I was terrified. This also happened at about 10 weeks, I went to A&E and was sent home with just a paracetamol and told to rest.

I haven't been given much helpful advice really. I'm really scared it's going to happen again and drive me into full blown labour...

Does anyone have any tips on managing it?

You could try eliminating foods to work out which are triggering your symptoms, also a hit water bottle on the lower back helps and peppermint tablets or peppermint tea for the bloating. Hope.this helps.
