We're TTC DC2 - it's only the first month we have tried but we have been giving it a good go (if you know what I mean!).
The first day of my last period was 4th December and since about 9th December we've done the deed about every other day.
In my head it is too early to test (or even be pregnant??!) but I woke up this morning with pains in my right side, a bit like period pain. I also feel a bit queasy and tired.
Part of me is thinking (and very much hoping!) it could be the very early signs of pregnancy though part of me is thinking it's probably not and more likely to be normal period pains or something.
So, how soon did you know you were pregnant and what signs/symptoms did you have?
Could this be the best Christmas present ever or should I not get my hopes up????!
Thanks!

I started having really weird dreams and needing to pee all the time (I was on a camping trip so it was very noticeable as I had to get up and walk to the loos three times each night!). Probably about 3 days before my period was due was when I started noticing. Don't know if the weird dreams are common but I've had them all the way through so far (I'm now 20 weeks).

I tested on 11 dpo on a pure whim, expecting nothing as I had no symptoms at all. Despite it being weak afternoon pee a positive line came up instantly. I nearly fainted in shock. The next day at 12dpo I had classic implantation bleeding which is so distinct and obvious that had I not done the HPT I would have known for sure then I was pregnant. The implanation bleeding always gives it away!

All seven of my pregnancies have shown a positive at 8/9 days past ovulation with very sensitive tests, usually the 10miu internet cheapies. I metabolise bHCG quite quickly though (either that or it's because my embryos produce a lot of it which I know is true from early betas!)

Most people can get a faint line on a very sensitive test such as a First Response by 10/11 days past ovulation, but there are always some that are later. Very rarely somebody can get a faint line at 7 days past, but in most cases they have not quite got their ovulation day right.

No symptoms at all first time, tested at around 12 dpo and got a faint bfp. This time round I got hot flushes around 8 dpo which I knew were implantation signs. Tested positive at 13 dpo.

The first day of my period was 1st October. 19 days after I had alcohol and it tasted weird and had a strange hangover. I did the test a day later because i felt really bloated. The positive test came up within seconds. :)
