Is it normal to have cervix pains waaay before due date?

A classic TMI mumsnet post! But I've started getting occasional stabbing pains in my cervix... Maybe few times a day. Only 30 weeks.
Please tell me this has nothing to do with labour??

I don't know but I had it with all 3 of mine and all were born between 37-39 weeks had pains from 30 weeks +

Absolutely - from around 26 weeks with both of mine and no problems with DD1, and touch word all well with DD2 (at 38 weeks now).

Breech baby at 34 weeks.

I know that feeling, it started at about 28 weeks...
