late period advice needed please.

advice needed ladies. OK so I'm a week on my period ive taken 2 pregnancy test which have come back negative, has any one ever had this then been pregnant or am i just worrying over nothing..

I was 8 days late on the first cycle we weren't using contraceptives, had lots of negatives tests and I wasn't pregnant. The next cycle I was again 8 days late I kept testing but getting negatives and finally got a faint positive at 8-9 days late. So I've had both situations. I'm normally pretty regular with a 28 day cycle so it was weird to have two long cycles one after another.
