Hi

I know this is a topic that's been spoken about a fair few times and its a divided opinion. However, I'm usually a shaver, but with a bump can't see, so decided to go for a wax (am 6 months) with the idea of keeping it up til the little one is born, if it was ok and not too horrific! Went to a totally new beauty salon so that I knew nobody and had a Brazilian ... well ... wasn't that painful, wasn't bothered about showing my bits off for half an hour and love the end product. Actually feel much more confident about seeing a midwife etc now. Definitely going to keep it up. Don't like the idea of lochia in hair, or having hair caught in examinations etc., or even dh seeing it all unkempt, so really pleased.

There's not a massive point to my post I guess, other than the idea that if you're wondering about it, I'd say get yourself booked in!!!

I get a regular bikini wax and am prone to ingrown hairs with that, so I will be staying well away from Brazilians! The idea of having an ingrown in a really delicate area - ouch!

I'm a regular waxer too, no other way for me!
