Hi everyone just wanted abit of advice really, I am 7weeks+2, Iv not long found out! Last Wednesday I left work as it was far too much stress n I thought instead of goin on sick they could get someone els who needs th job! However I was a cook in a nursery which I cooked for 100 children on my own, done all the cleaning on my own, I told my employer, manager and deputy that I am pregnant as I thort thy shud no due to the heavey work I had to do, however nothing changed, I got no help and that's why I thort it was my time to leave! Anyway wen I told management about my pregnancy I specifically told them I did not want another members of staff to know until I was ready, due to havin a bad experience 6 years ago. And I member of my partners family also works at nursery n they would go back n tell the family before us! So they agreed, however my little girl attends the nursery as she gets her 15hours nursery education here and eventhough I have left I did not want to take her somewhere els as she is settle etc... but she has come home today askin if I have a baby in my belly, and when will it be coming? I couldn't believe it! I really think the management have told other members of staff and they hav mentioned it to my daughter, which I am not happy about! How do I go about approaching them about this? And can they do this eventhough they agreed they wouldn't say anything? I am really upset about this as I thought I could trust them?
