Hi there, I'm 21 years old and have been experiencing some changes. Increased hunger, nausea, heavier feeling breast and tiredness. I, due my period in 3-4 days, could this mean I'm possibly pregnant?

Thanks

It could mean anything at all, perhaps you are coming down with the flu.

PMS every time for me. The hunger was a give away. Hope the outcome is whatever you'd like it to be.

Some people say they experience symptoms of their pg before they miss a period. But many more feel crappy at random times when they're not.

You'll need to POAS - you're still a bit on the early side though. Can you hang on until at least the day you're due?

lauren458 · 17/12/2013 15:14

Yeah I'm never usually this hungry, I mean yesterday it was constant but then this morning I couldn't even stomach a hot chocolate!! Sorry what's POAS? New to this sit lol :) I mean I'm not due for another 3/4 days so I can wait out cause I know if I tested now it would probably come out negative anyway because it's a little too early. It's just wondering that's getting to me! My temp seems to be up at times!! Tell me if I'm being silly lol....

POAS is 'pee on a stick' (ie use a pregnancy test)

Unless you have tracked your basal temperature for a few months, it's not reliable to use that as indication of pg.

Oh right ok, thank you for your help anyway!

Would you be able to take a test 1/2 days before you period? I worked it out I last came on around the 21st 22nd so would be due on around this time. Would it be too early do you think?

They sound like pmt symptoms as well as potential pregnancy ones. It's early days though so it would be unlikely that you're getting symptoms this early. However, my first symptom (constant weeing) started on the day of implantation so it is possible!

MrsVDB · 17/12/2013 20:30

I'd poas. Mine had very faint line at about the same time. Symptoms could be due to anything. Good luck

Thanks for your help vjones and mrs vdb...no really sure what to do at this point apart from wait for my period to come...

You could try an early response test, which usually works from three days before your period is due, or wait until it is actually due and use a regular test.

I think I'm probably just being silly and looking into things too much!
