I wake up most mornings with a headache. I have to take 2 paracetamol to ease it as I have to get my 3 children to school. I'm going to bed at 9pm every night and up approx 6am. I'm 14 weeks pregnant.
Has this happened to anyone else and do you think I should get some advise on it or just wait until my 16 week midwife appointment ?

The headaches were the worst part for me. Pretty much constant during first 14 weeks, then they eased up a bit. Not I could do about it but take paracetamol and stay well hydrated. I also had a lot of early nights- you already have children so you know what's in store, so enjoy the early nights!

I suffered daily headaches from around 8 weeks, they finally eased at 16 weeks. MW wasn't worried as blood pressure was ok. I found the key to avoiding the really bad ones was drinking loads of water. I can fully sympathise as it felt never ending for whIle... It will get better x

Thanks for your advise, I'll drink more and see how I go :-)

I can sympathise, I have 48 hr plus headaches which started about 9 wks (13 wks now) and it seems to be worsened if I have a bad night's sleep (most nights). Nothing touches them except migraine forehead strips which seems to distract you from the pain. They last a few hours but they're quite expensive.

I think it's only a worry if you have high blood pressure but mine is always fine so I've not really mentioned it to the GP or midwife.

Just make sure you regularly get blood pressure checked but all you can really do is rest as much as poss (not easy when you already have DC) and drink plenty of fluids. I'm suffering with headaches myself so can sympathise.
