Feeling dreadful

I'm 35+3 and since last monday I've been feeling dreadful. Sick and dizzy and achy. I thought it was a bug but then on friday I as told that baby isn't growing as he should, that amniotic fluid levels are low and that he'll be induced (or quite possibly delivered by C section since he's not head down yet) this week. Today I feel even worse, my sides feel sore and I just feel like something's not right. I'm back at the hospital for daily monitoring every morning until thursday 9planed induction day) but I think I'd better make sure I have my hospital bag just in case. I'm scared.

Sorry for the little ramble, I just needed to offload a bit and DH isn't always very good with stuff like this.

Didn't want to leave you unanswered. Definitely take your hospital bag, but remember that you and your baby will be in the best hands. I read on a thread that paediatricians don't get too uptight about anything over 32 weeks gestation. And from my own experience 34-plus weeks Ida real milestone Smile

Don't allow yourself to be fobbed off with anything less than you feel comfortable with/confident in. And very best of luck xx

*is a, not Ida Hmm

Thanks sleep we've been told he's likely to be ok development wise but will probably need a week give or take a few days on SCBU till he can regulate his temperature.

I'm quite possibly just being paranoid thinking 'something's not right' because the doctor and midwife have seemed a little concerned at appointments. I don't think we'll make it to thursday somehow.

This last bit is the worst I find for worrying - the end is in sight, but it just seems like there are too many hurdles. Sounds like your hospital is on it, though, with the monitoring. Best of luck xx
