Wisdom teeth

Hey,
Just looking for reassurance really, I have really bad gums mainly round my wisdom teeth. So much so I ended up at the emergency dentist yesterday. One of my teeth was causing me so much much pain that it was radiating to my eye. Anyway the emergency dentist said my wisdom tooth was loose and thought it should come out. He did offer me antibiotics as alternative but it's not the first time it's been suggested I'd be better off without the wisdom tooth.

So tooth removed.....

Now I'm freaking!! Had it done under local anaesthetic but I've got my c section booked in for 12 days and I'm scared if it gets infected its gonna stop my section or that I shouldn't have had it done in the first place!

Anyone else suffered anything similar ? I'm 37 weeks.

Thanks

i see you havent got an answer so im guna try reassure you. I got a wisdom tooth out but wasnt pregnant at the time. just be extra careful with it and do lots of lukewarm salt water gentle swishes(dont swish it too hard or cause pressure round it incase it aggrivates it), everytime you eat and every couple of hours in between. worked for me. maybe if you avoid sugary things it might help - just an idea though?
