When did you start feeling DC2?

Just that, really. I felt movement with DC1 about 16 weeks (with anterior placenta) but so far, at 16 weeks with our second, no signs yet. I'm sure I felt a flutter at 12 weeks and thought hooray, I'll start feeling more soon, but nope. Anyone else have similar experiences?

dc1 I felt movement at 13 weeks. DC2 not until after 20 weeks. I was really worried as everyone told me I'd feel movement earlier. everything was fine & 14 mo DS is a little dynamo interestingly much more active than his sister Smile

and congratulations!

Ds about 16 weeks and dd about 14
Everyone is different tho

DS1 17 weeks, DS2 9 weeks Shock, DS3 15 weeks and this time about 12-ish weeks I think but may have forgotten already, oops! So a bit random and unpredictable.

Disclaimer: DS2 is and always has been a little powerhouse, bouncing around like an electron.

dc1 about 15/16 weeks but nothing with this pg until 20 weeks. like you i kept reading everywhere you feel 2nd pg earlier etc but not in my case!!

16 weeks is really early.

Can't remember DD1 and DD2 in great detail, but I was 20 weeks this time before I felt anything noticeable and at 22 it is still only really if I am sitting or lying really still that I notice. Anterior placenta too.

Dc2 - 11weeks
Dc3 - 22weeks
Lots of variation in feeling movement early on due to a variety of factors.

DS felt 18 w on the dot, this time anterior high placenta nothing until 22 weeks

Blondebrunette1 · 15/12/2013 22:34

I was the same, I thought something wasn't right as everyone says you feel second babies earlier and my first I felt at 16 weeks my 2nd was beyond 20weeks. Hope this helps xxx

DramaAlpaca · 15/12/2013 22:38

I felt DC1 at about 18 weeks, but I remember feeling DC2 at 14 weeks when I was lying on my stomach in bed. I think that was unusually early though, and it was only because of the position I was in.

BrianTheMole · 15/12/2013 22:39

Its was past 20 weeks with dc 1 and 2.

Thanks ladies… that does help ease my anxiety a bit! I've got my 16-week midwife appointment on Weds so fingers crossed she finds the heartbeat right away and I can stop worrying about lack of movement… for a bit, at least.
