What is your movement like?

I am 31 weeks now. Sometimes my movement will be a little kick, sometimes a big kick, sometimes a flutter or sometimes just a hard bit of baby (bottom? head?) stretching out of my tummy. It's so sporadic! I want to hear what your movement is like too x

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hey mine is the same really as what you've just described, I'm nearly 30 weeks, I have anterior placenta aswell but I do feel her quite a bit :) I get the kicks really low down and at the sides of my bump (almost all the time at the mo!) and I get flutter feeling still, I have times where my bump goes harder on one side which I assume is her bum or back but not yet had any real squirms that I can see on my bump, I can feel like swooshes but they're not visible yet iyswim :) xxx

I'm 32 weeks and movements are just like you describe Smile until I either lay down or get in the bath then it's disco time in there Grin.
Elbows and feet sticking out and my whole bump looks like it's doing a Mexican wave.

Londongirl I just turned 30 weeks and we're the same. So sporadic atm. My most frequent thing is feeling his head getting nearer the surface up by my head.

I'm so glad you all have the same. As this is my first baby I just assume what I feel is normal but you never actually know, do you! Sometimes my baby is sooo active and then sometimes so quiet. Thank you for replies x

I'm 25 weeks and most of my movements are like sudden thumps - some of them are so strong they take me quite by surprise Grin

I started off with flutterings at 19weeks which progressed onto rolling/bubble popping sensations at about 22 weeks and now I just feel like I'm being punched and kicked all the time. He is much, much worse when I'm lying down Grin

I love lying down with an exposed belly and watching my bump wriggle around Smile

I started with tickles at about 14 weeks.
Now tye only way i can describe it is its almost like those weird involuntary eye twitches you sometimes get, only in my bump... I get mainly gentle thumps with the occasional almighty whack, I've had a few that have made me jump!

I also get a funny 'heavy' sensation right low down my bump sometimes which is quite uncomfortable, like baby's put their full weight laying down in me - I have to jiggle my tummy til s/he moves!

Agree with PP - a warm bath is fab! I put a wet muslin facecloth on my belly & watch the waves rolling in my bump. So strange but quite reassuring!

Can't wait to meet her/him now...

Anyone else? Does anyone not have a pattern like me?! X

I'm 36 weeks with my first. I wouldn't say i've had a pattern at any stage but he's obviously moving plenty and in lots of different ways so that's good.

Lastonedancing, since about 30 weeks i've loved having baths and putting a wet sponge on my bump and seeing the way it moved. I agree it's very reassuring.
