I'm getting a pains just above my belly button, is that just a growing/stretching pain or something else?

What does it feel like? I'm 14+4 so a little behind you, but I've been getting burning type pains there. GP said it didn't sound like anything to worry about, and midwife said most likely stretching pains.

Have you been careful about not using your stomach muscles (rolling over when trying to sit up from lying on your back etc)? That's what your stomach muscles separating feels like.

Hmm if could be that.. I'm not sure! It only really hurts if I breathe in a lot... Only noticed it today also

Aren't we both too early for that? I thought that happened much later on Confused

That's also what's confused me! I am having a girl and they carry higher so it could be that but I'm not sure...

My stomach muscles started separating when I started showing. If you have strong stomach muscles it can happen early on. 14+4 is probably a bit early though, are you showing?

If they're strong , they separate earlier??? Confused God, I'd assumed it was the other way round! Sad I've got very strong abdominals and I'd thought it would hold everything in and they wouldn't separate till much later - you've rather burst my bubble lol! I'm showing a little, yeah. Don't think a stranger would notice, but if you know me and my build, it's fairly obvious.
