Just tried on my maternity jeans ohhh so comfortable!

I am only 9 weeks Blush but soooo bloated and a bit of jelly belly from last pregnancy that having anything tight on my tummy is horrible and makes me feel more sick.

Anyone else start wearing maternity clothes this early or am I just destined to end up like an elephant?

I was in maternity at 9 weeks. Was so bloated and uncomfortable until I pulled on my maternity jeans..,heavenly ;-)

I popped about 12 weeks and now look 35 weeks at 21...but hey ho, I love it.

I started wearing maternity jeans about then as well and I swear I am never going to wear normal jeans again! Best things ever!

And by the way I'm 35 weeks, have a big baby but bump is pretty small so don't panic about being the size of a house by the time you get to full term, lol!

I am 34 weeks now and have been wearing maternity trousers since about 8 weeks. This is my first baby and my stomach was almost flat until 16 weeks or so. I am still small now so it is not necessarily indicative of things to come! The trousers were just more comfortable on my sore belly. In fact, I am considering wearing them forever...

This is my first, so my normal jeans will still button at almost 16 weeks, but they are SO uncomfortable that I've been in the demi panel mat jeans since 12wks. Nothing wrong with a bit of comfort Smile

Inglori0us · 16/12/2013 07:42

Same here. First pregnancy I didn't get into mat jeans till 25 weeks. Second one, in them at 10 weeks. Best invention ever. I'm now 22 weeks and bump is huge. People keep saying they can't believe I'm not due till April. I want to kill those people, obviously.

everythinghippie29 · 16/12/2013 08:37

Yup, started in mine about that early and they were amazing! So good on my little bump after normal trousers!

Now at 41 + 3 I am struggling to get into even maternity wear...boo!

Writerwannabe83 · 16/12/2013 09:58

I'm 25+2 and can still fit in my skinny jeans despite having a huge bump!! Thankfully due to the way they are designed the top of the jeans is resting on the very, very lowest aspect of my bump and there is some level of elasticity. However, I'm predicting that by this time next week I won't have a hope in Hells chance of getting in them. I have got some Maternity Jeans but they just look so unattractive and unflattering... Hmm

Cariad007 · 16/12/2013 10:16

I'm 31+2 and found it really hard to get decent maternity jeans – tried about 3 stores before settling on Gap’s legging jeans. I actually prefer the full panel kind to the half panel as it doesn’t cut into my bump and gives a smoother line under clothes. I can still fit into my regular (but not skinny) jeans but they do get uncomfortable if I’m sitting down at my desk, especially after lunch, so I have given in to the elasticated waist!

ChairOfTheBored · 16/12/2013 10:23

I love my maternity jeans - in my view ALL jeans should come with a massive elasticated waist bit. It will be with very mixed emotions that I put them in storage and go back to pre-pregnancy ones...
