I'm looking for some friendly advice I'm 22 weeks pregnant & 5 days, I have said from start id like a section everyone is against it (aka family) but with my first it wasn't the best experience, now my partner informs me he is on 12 hour shifts 7 days a week for 3 months 1 day off every 3 weeks, I'm so angry & upset as he is working right through my due date etc I was hoping for a hand near end with my son, who will be 4 come that time, he has already done 12 hours for 3 weeks a few months ago & it was very hard and draining, I can only imagine how hard and tired I'm gonna be when I'm pretty much due! A planned section would be ideal as we would know the date and have things in place for my little boy, but it turns out he may not be allowed his leave until the shifts are finished as they need them all on site! I'm so upset I don't know what to do!

Any helpful advice would be great

Do you mean his employer would not let him take his statutory paternity leave when the baby is born?
